It all began in 2010...At the time Michele Edis had just returned to work, after taking maternity leave with her second child, and fully understood the pressure of being a working mother of two children whilst continuing to manage a successful career within the city. A coaching session with Trevor Madden inspired her to join Eureka and she was appointed MD. Michele recognises the need for support and personal development for individuals working within mid to senior roles in all market sectors.
Michele brings a wealth of experience to Eureka from her previous career in the world of consulting supporting many FTSE 250 clients, with a career span of over 20 years. She has led many change and transformation initiatives within a number of organisations. Michele's areas of expertise include Strategy development, Optimising organisational and individual performance, Cultural change and development, Organisational (re)structuring, Personal / professional development planning and knowledge transfer and delivery of training and education programmes.
She is passionate about the value that Eureka delivers to our clients and strives to ensure that Eureka maintains a high quality service that never compromises on excellence or delivery. Michele attributes her personal success to her passion, determination, stubborn nature and continuous professional development.
Trevor Madden
Coach and Trainer
After a ten year career as a business analyst Trevor switched roles and became involved in sales. "There is a great similarity between selling and business analysis", says Trevor "both involve asking questions and listening".
Following a successful sales record which involved being the director of corporate sales for the EMEA region for the world’s largest independent training organisation, Trevor developed the theme of asking questions and listening and in 1997 became an independent consultant.
Initially focussed on traditional sales, Trevor has expanded into the area of Leadership. "It is amazing that the parallels I found between business analysis and selling, are there between leadership and selling."
A certified Dale Carnegie corporate coach, Trevor is also an INLPTA Master Coach Practitioner accredited by the International Coach Federation and is an avid student of practical psychology.
Passionate about making a difference Trevor has worked with hundreds of organisations ranging from household names like BT and GM. To SMEs in a diverse range of business sectors.
Trevor is also the lead coach on our Eureka Recess breaks.
Joan Watson
Executive Coach
Joan is a qualified psychotherapist and brings this skill set to the world of commerce.
Joan has a passion for the not for profit sector which these days are run in a similar way to many successful main stream businesses. Joan has consulted, facilitated and coached fornumerous household names.
Karen Marshall
Executive Coach and Organisational Consultant
Karen is a certified NLP trainer and Master Practitioner Karen specialises in personal development for leaders, coupled with executive coaching and soft skills training. In addition to 15 years at IBM in a number of key development roles, Karen has worked for companies such as BA, Sony, ESSO and American Express. With a BSc Hons and in internal IBM MBA Karen has an impressive range of academic and professional qualifications. As a member of the Institute of Directors and the international bodies for NLP and coaching Karen is a frequent speaker at events.
Maureen Vontz
Executive Coach / Organisational Consultant
As the Head of Business Strategy for Microsoft Services, Maureen helped drive the strategic direction and growth of consulting and support services in the UK. Her focus at Oracle, helping clients to adapt new technology through change management programs and her role as a strategy consultant for KPMG give Maureen more than 20 years business experience.
She holds an MBA, a master's diploma in Leadership for Change and is pursuing a Doctorate in Organisational Consulting at Ashridge Business School. Maureen is MBTI type I and II qualified, is an NLP Master Practitioner and coach and is accredited in the Margerison-McCann Team Management Profile System.
Stacey Humphrey
Business and Marketing manager
Stacey has recently joined Eureka Learning as business & marketing manager. Previously she worked for a high end furniture manufacturer running various marketing campaigns of which she gained extensive knowledge of PR and marketing. She specialises in social media and email marketing and she has a wide range of contacts within various publications. Whilst working full time Stacey has been completing an Open University, honours degree in Business Studies which she is due to complete in October 2012.
